This is a letter of recommendation for Ernie Ward. Although this may be
the first time ... EVER ... that a real estate agent is writing a reference letter to another real estate agent ... I feel it's important to point out GREAT customer service when I see it!
Ernie Ward recently sent me a couple of referrals (customers that were moving out of his area and into my area).
He made sure I was well informed as to those customers' needs and followed up during the home showing/buying process to make sure everything was going smoothly for the customer(s) who were relocating.
I think Ernie Ward is a thorough, caring, hard working and honest person ... Isn't THAT what you want and deserve when buying or selling something as personal as REAL ESTATE? I have never met Ernie personally ... but have now spoken with him many times via telephone and consider him a friend and a real estate professional I can count on in the Toronto area.

Five
years ago I was introduced to Ernie Ward when I decided to invest in real
estate in the Mississauga area. Prior to my arrival in Mississauga,
Ernie and I had spoke at length on a number of occasions as to what investments
would work out well and about the market condition at that time.
When I arrived at the airport Ernie picked me up and gave me a good overview
of the city. I found this very helpful since I had never been to
Mississauga. The next two days we spent looking at a wide variety
of properties and making decisions as to which to pursue. It was
obvious from the outset that Ernie was able to see the kind of investments
which were viable and those that I would feel comfortable in making.
He had done a thorough job of research prior to my arrival so that time
was not wasted in viewing properties which would not be suitable.
In the negotiating of the
properties, Ernie was particularly deft in that he was able to move things
along quickly and successfully in each of the investments. Ernie
was not careless though. He was efficient in his negotiating but
also very exacting, leaving no small details uncovered.
When I had arrived in Mississauga,
I thought all the financing had been arranged by my bank in Vancouver.
I found, much to my chagrin, that things had not been set up properly and
told Ernie my sad story. Within an hour, he had arranged with a bank
all the financing I needed and at better terms than had originally been
set in Vancouver.
After returning to Vancouver,
I purchased two more properties through Ernie sight unseen. Never
had I purchased investments in this manner before, but I felt very comfortable
in doing so because of the confidence I had in him.
Since then Ernie has managed
the properties for me and done a superb job. Whenever there is a
decision to be made he confers with me at first and then gets things done.
He is thorough in screening tenants so that we have had a minimum of problems.
Ernie has done an excellent job in managing my properties.
In general, I cannot recommend
Ernie highly enough. He is a thorough professional, working long
and hard for his clients. As a person, he is easy going and an enjoyable
person to be with. His greatest characteristics are his honesty,
diligence and knowledge of his market. There is no pretence with
Ernie, what you see is what you get. He is someone who has my utmost
confidence and I look forward to many more years of successful work with
him.

Ernie's
reputation is far reaching. He was recommended to us "inter-provincially."
He showed in-depth knowledge of the geographical areas he covers as well
as the current market situation. He provided us with a lot of relevant
information, both before and after our arrival, which made our transition
much easier. His efficiency was instrumental in minimizing the time
we had to spend in temporary accomodations, and his patience in explaining

whom it may concern:
When
we first spoke to Ernie about the bungalow we were interested in at the
time we found his comments and review to be professional and to the point
and his interest in the transaction to be sincere.
He displayed considerable
patience and understanding when we indicated that we wanted to wait a few
weeks before doing anything about the transaction even though we wanted
to make an offer for the particular house.
When we finally decided to
go ahead with the offer Ernie was immediately prepared and went ahead straight
away on very short notice. He was probably instrumental in getting
the sale finalized within 6 hours or so after we called him to continue
with the transaction.
We figured that this required
tact, experience, flexibility and a genuine desire to see the customer
find an abode of their desire.
Ernie is consequently recommended
without hesitation. We should do so ourselves when the moment arrives.
